BookOfLions interviews ShanesArt

So a month or two back I was contacted by Chris Spann of DickieJones33.com about doing an interview for his newly developed website, BookOfLions.com. The site is geared towards artists, designers and the creative community as a whole and includes some pretty good insight and inspiration. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Twilight Zone!

Over the past couple years I’ve had the pleasure of working with the crew over at PlayCreativeTV on some “TwlightZone Marathon” spots that they put together for the SyFy network. I was asked to sketch up quite a few frames and characters that would be used throughout the spots. I have to say that PlayCreative really made the 2D images come to life and gave them a true TwilightZone feel.

Here are the spots from the last 2 years, hope you enjoy them.

BuddhApparel

Over the last year I’ve had the pleasure of working with the crew over at BuddhApparel. They’re a great company and only use top quality material when printing their designs. Below are a few of their products showcaing my designs. Check them out at buddhapparel.com. – S

Twilight Zone boards

Last year Michael over at PlayCreativeTV contacted me to draw up some panels for a Twilight Zone promo they were putting together for the SyFy channel. The promo was for the SyFy new year’s day Twilight Zone marathon and aired during the month of December. This first image showcases a few of my original sketches.

Below are a few screen shots from the final promo. I think they did a great job with the treatments and transitions. To view the promo click here.

Full Bodied Ale

I know I know, it’s been way to long since my last post. But hey, what can I say, I’ve been crazy busy this past year and that’s a good thing. I think?

Anyway, awhile back my pal Tom over at Righteous Clothing asked me if I’d mock-up another design for the Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery. Since the last design came out so well I jumped on board and started sketching up some of their ideas. Here is a sample of the design. If you care to order one for yourself click here.

Halloween!

Here are a couple of sketches that I did to celebrate the best holiday of the year and my favorite movie. Halloween and Michael Myers, doesn’t get much better than that. So go devour some candy and scare the crap outta someone!

Tilted Kilt T-shirt

Here is a design I did awhile back for the Tilted Kilt Pub. I had a pretty good time creating this one. Hot chick, nice bike, short skirt… who wouldn’t. I’d like to thank my friend Tom over at Righteous Clothing for the hook up on this one.

If you’d like to order one click here.

Back and out of Hybernation

Hey everyone, sorry about the lack of posts over these past few months. Sometimes ya just need a break. That and I’ve had a ton of stuff going on. Got a new day job (the main reason for me not posting), more and more freelance work as well as been traveling quite a bit. Now I’m back at it so, stay tuned for more regular posts.
